Spinning disc technology lends itself readily to the biscuit and snack food industries, where it is used extensively in the application of glazes and flavourings. Flavourings can be applied to snack biscuits using either ambient or heated liquids, or, in the form of a slurry, with up to 35% particulates, in suspension.
The Saturn sprinkler unit can be used for the application of granular products, such as salts, to products such as nuts and popcorn.
