Spinning disc technology lends itself readily to the biscuit and snack food industries, where it is used extensively in the application of glazes and flavourings. Flavourings can be applied to snack biscuits; using either ambient or heated liquids, or, in the form of a slurry, with up to 35% particulates in suspension.
The Saturn sprinkler unit can be used for the application of granular products, such as: salts, to products such as nuts and popcorn.
