Saturn are at the forefront of technology in the field of low pressure, air operated, gun machines, for spraying oils, greases and release agents into various shapes and sizes of bakery tins, trays, 'straps' of tins, and multi- indent platens.
In response to the current food regulations, Saturn developed a stainless steel application gun, (pat. pend.), including a 're-circulating' version for heated products, and a 'depositing' version, where very small quantities of product are required to be deposited.
This forms the basis of the two systems available, being fixed guns and rotating guns, with PLC control where applicable. This ensures consistent, repeatable, and accurate application, and allows multi size operation.
These systems are also used for applying coatings to food products, eg., oiling Pizza dough balls and decorating Pizza bases, depositing into pork pies, depositing jam and glazing tartlets.
